Performance Training

Each athlete has individual needs, therefore training must be constructed and applied to each client specifically.  DSC Performance, with the support of an attached privately-owned Physical Therapy Clinic (DSC Performance Physical Therapy), will establish baseline measures, identify areas of strength and weakness, and set a course of action to help you reach your peak potential.

 

DSC Performance offers private 1 on 1 training, semi-private and group performance classes.  Whether you are a professional athlete, or a weekend warrior, DSC Performance will help perfect your athletic ability.

Semi-Private Sports Performance Program

Designed for Middle School and High School Athletes. 2-5 athletes per 1 hour long training session. Each athlete trains on a program specifically designed for their individual age, needs, and goals as an athlete. Coached by Jake Gellatly and Olivia Bellig.

Youth Surf
Performance Class

About

​Our Youth Surf Performance Class is designed to teach young athletes how to move better, stay injury-free, and build a solid foundation for long-term athletic success. Through proper movement mechanics, mobility work, and functional strength exercises, we help young surfers and other board sport athletes improve balance, coordination, and body control. Coached by Mario Rossi.

What to Expect​

1 hour training sessions designed to develop  foundational strength, mobility, durability, and movement quality in young surfers, allowing them to excel in and out of the water.

Basketball skill training

DSC Performance Basketball Skills Training consists of 90 minute, group based, skill development sessions designed to give players focused live reps through the constrained learning approach. 

​

What is the Constrained Learning Approach (CLA)?

​

A method of skill development that emphasizes all of the components of live play, (fast decision making, reaction based movement, complex problem solving, creativity), while adding constraints to each drill to challenge specific skills or abilities. 

​

Why do we use the Constrained Learning Approach?

​

It is a powerful training method to accelerate the time it takes from when a player learns a new skill or move, to when it has become subconscious enough for them to actually apply it in game. 

​

  • Finishing

  • Passing

  • IQ

  • Defense
